Melrose fills the b*tch void that Monique left behind. Anchal struggles with some 'weighty' issues, and Megg rock n' rolls all the way home!
We start off the action with the girls hosting a late night celebration! They're thrilled that Monique was tossed out on her @$$ during the last elimination. It's par-tay time in the shower! (This was the point my husband walked in and decided he must now watch America's Next Top Model with me! Why?) Melrose, who's trying to get some sleep - obviously to reduce her crow's feet since she's the 'oldest gal in the bunch' - goes and yells at the girls. I can understand being tired, but she could've said it in a much nicer way. She's not what they call tactful. Jaeda continues to complain about her hair. Oh God! Get over it, already! It looks much better. Trust me! Anchal talks about how she's the heavy-set model this season. Hehe! If that's fat, I'm totally screwed! She's more voluptuous than the rest of the gals, I suppose, but she's far from fat. Anchal also talks a bit about her awkward phase and mentions that she's used to hearing people talk smack about her. Uh-oh! I wonder if this episode will feature the girls talking 'bout Anchal. Yeah! Fantastic foreshadowing, producers! The girls get Tyra Mail which tells them not to "get it twisted." They then head out somewhere to meet up with Canadian Top Model judge, Stacey McKenzie, and a contortionist. They have to practice some extreme poses. Melrose is like, "I do yoga" so she figures she's got this one in the bag. Anchal surprises everyone with her flexibility...especially Melrose. She didn't think Anchal could bend that well since she doesn't do enough cardio. Basically, she told Anchal she was too fat! What a b*tch! Back at the model compound, Melrose and some of the girls are in the hot tub. Melrose mentions how she thought Anchal was bigger competition before she got to know her. Now, she doesn't think she's nearly as beautiful or model-y. Anchal hears them upstairs and starts to cry. AJ offers her support and tells the viewers in a diary session that she really can't stand Melrose. This seems to be the general consensus this week, y'all! The girls then head out to dinner at Oasis. We see Anchal chowing down. I love a pretty girl with an appetite! You go, girl! There's a place card that says "Reserved for Special Guest". The girls wonder who it is...and Twiggy shows up! Melrose kisses major butt. CariDee tells the camera that Melrose is always sticking her nose up someone's butt. Hehe! When they get back home, there's more Tyra Mail waiting for them talking about catty b*tches who need to be knocked off their pedestals. Brooke thinks they're going to have to fight it out American Gladiator style. My husband thinks this would be fantastic! I'm like, "just watch, buddy!" Sometimes, he's such a man! They get to this place that looks like an art gallery and meet up with Bao Tranchi, a fashion designer known for her 'decadent collections.' Bao is hosting an event and the girls will be standing on pedestals in her clothing, striking some extreme poses and wearing jewelry from Erica Courtney. Eugena wins the challenge and all the jewelry. This ticks Melrose off. She really thought she had this one all sewn up! Then, she starts going on and on about how she can improve for next time. Guess what, Melrose? No one wants to hear it! When the girls return home, they head to a comfy room. Tyra joins them for a chat about insecurities. Melrose talks about her age bugs her. Jaeda talks about her hair. Tyra tells her to take it as a compliment. She wouldn't have given her short hair if she didn't think her face was strong enough to handle it. Thank you, Tyra. Now shut up, Jaeda! Anchal finally comes clean about hearing Melrose and the other girls put her down. Dr. Tyra tells her she has to talk about her problems. Jaeda tells the camera that Anchal is just trying to get attention. She has to know she's pretty. Sounds like sour grapes, Jaeda! Tyra Mail again arrives and mentions something about models being 'freaks of nature.' The girls go to their photo shoot and Mr. Jay Manuel is there, complete with circus gear. Each of the girls is going to be a circus freak. Megg is a bearded lady. Brooke is the rubber girl. AJ will be a cannibal. Anchal is a giant. CariDee has an elephant nose. Eugena gets a bird beak. Melrose has a young body and an old face. The twins - well, they're Siamese twins, creatively enough! I have to ask - what circus does Jay Manuel going to? I've never been to one with a cannibal, among other things! The girls struggle through hair and makeup. Atoosa Rubenstein, the editor-in-chief of Seventeen Magazine, is there to check them out. Remember, y'all! Seventeen Mag will be doing a photo shoot with the eventual winner of the competition. AJ knocks it out of the park. I love her. She's quirky, beautiful, sexy and a bit scary at times. She's high fashion and edgy. Methinks, we have a winner! Melrose impresses Jay and Atoosa as well. Eugena, Megg, Anchal and Jaeda don't. The twins do okay. One twin is still better than the other, but I'll never know which if they don't start separating them! At home, Megg and Anchal express their concerns with the upcoming eliminations. Luckily, we aren't left waiting long. The girls meet with the judges, which includes the usual suspects and Atoosa Rubenstein, who was pretty vocal. She actually ripped Jaeda apart in front of everyone saying that she needs too much direction. Megg starts crying during elimination and says she knows her pictures suck. The judges deliberate and decide that CariDee delivered the best shot. She really made the elephant nose look sexy! It was kind of cool! Jaeda and Megg were the bottom two. Tyra told them that Megg has the personality that they love but doesn't deliver it in pictures. Jaeda has the look now but doesn't know how to work it. In the end, Megg was sent home. She decides she'd rather start a band and be a musician who models part-time. Sounds like a plan! Next week, Michelle, one of the twins, separates herself from her sister, Amanda, by announcing she might be gay! (Great! Now my husband wants to watch next week too!) The girls also get to interview Janice Dickinson and it looks like sweet little Brooke pisses the grand diva off! Can't wait!
