Big Brother 11 Premieres On July 9th, 2009The Newest Season of the CBS Reality Show Will Air at 8pm.
'Big Brother' is back with another exciting season on CBS this summer, and it kicks off with the Big Brother season premiere on July 9th, 2009.
The season premiere of Big Brother 11 is only a short time away, and already fans are becoming excited about the prospects of a new season. Big Brother 11 will bring what is being advertised as "bigger secrets", "better than ever", "crazy new challenges", and "outrageous summer fun" according to the new promotions. This season of Big Brother will pit 12 houseguests against one another, in another seasonal battle to decide who is going to go home with the cash prize. Big Brother Premise The Big Brother premise is that 12 complete strangers are put into 1 house and are videotaped 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in order to film a reality show for CBS. The 12 houseguests compete in weekly challenges, participate in a vote, and at least one houseguest is sent home at the end of each week of competitions. Fans can watch the show through episodes aired on CBS, special bonus coverage on Showtime, and even through live internet feeds if they want to pay a little extra. It's a tough show in which to compete, and with no real contact to the outside world, it can be a very tough reality show to be on. Big Brother 11 Prizes The reason that people are willing to put themselves out in the public eye such as this on Big Brother 11, are the prizes that could await them in the end. The Big Brother 11 prize for the winner is going to be $500,000 with an additional cash prize going to whomever finishes second. Winning a half million dollars for a short few weeks of work on live television can be a grueling way to do things, but it can also be very rewarding if you are the last contestant standing. The Big Brother 11 ScheduleThis summer on CBS, the Big Brother 11 schedule will provide new episodes on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday on CBS. The Big Brother 11 season premiere will take place on Thursday, July 9th at 8pm, and then episodes will be shown at 8pm on Sundays, 9pm on Tuesdays, and 8pm on Thursdays. The Sunday show will have the nominations, the Tuesday show will have the veto competition and veto ceremony, and then each Thursday will be the live eviction and head of household competition. For those die-hard fans of Big Brother, starting at 9pm PST (12am EST) on the night of July 9th, Showtime2 will start airing Big Brother: After Dark, where people can turn in to watch even more of Big Brother live.
