With the season kicking off with a three-night premiere, beginning September 22nd, new stars are ready to start this season's competition.
Boasting one of reality TV's largest audiences in American, Dancing with the Stars promises to not fail it's fans this year with the following all-star cast: Lance Bass - Best known for his 'NSync fame, Bass has moved on from his boyband days to produce a number of up and coming musical artists. This season, Bass, 29, will try his skills on the dance floor with partner Lacey Schwimmer. Toni Braxton - Best known for her hit single "Unbreak My Heart," which was not only a fan-favorite number one, but also remains as the number 2 best selling single by a female artist of all time, Braxton has just returned from a six month health hiatus. Before, Braxton, 43, had finished a stint in Broadway in Disney's Aida, and now moves on to dance with Alec Mazo. Brooke Burke - Having gotten her start hosting the E! original series Wild On!, Brooke Burke has gone on to host a number of reality TV shows. Also known for her advice to recent mothers on how to get back in shape after giving birth, Burke, 37, will be dancing with Derek Hough. Rocco DiSpirito - Spending the last five years on his own TV show, chef Rocco DiSpirito now embarks on another show, this time on A&E. Also the author of well-respected cookbooks, DiSpirito, 41, will dance with Karina Smirnoff. Maurice Greene - Gold medal winner Maurice Greene ran for the United States both at the 2000 Sydney games and at the 2004 Athens games. Greene, 34, who still holds the world record in the 60m, will dance with Cheryl Burke. Kim Kardashian - Spending the last year on her family's reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kardashian has also made numerous guest spots on various television shows. This season on DWTS, Kim, 28, will dance with Mark Ballas. Cloris Leachman - Making such fabulous entertainment such as The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Young Frankenstein, and The Last Picture Show, Cloris Leachman has made her mark on the entertainment industry indelible. Having made 3 movies already in 2008, Leachman, 82, will dance with Corky Ballas. Cody Linley - Known to many young adults and teens for his role on Disney's Hannah Montana, Linley will make history this season as the youngest constestant ever on the show. At age 18, Cody Linley will be dancing with Julieanne Hough. Susan Lucci - Truly a staple in the daytime television industry, All My Children star Susan Lucci will film her 10,000th episode this summer. Lucci, 62, hopes to carry her dominance to the show, dancing with Tony Dovolani. Misty May-Treanor - Having become a household name after winning back-to-back Olympic gold in beach volley ball with teammate Kerri Walsh, Misty May-Treanor now embarks on a new atheletic journey. May-Treanor, 29, will dance with Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Ted McGinley - McGinley has made his mark on the entertainment industry with roles in shows like Hope and Faith, West Wing and Happy Days. Ready to make his mark on the dance floor, McGinley, 50, will dance with Inna Brayer. Jeff Ross - Known as the "meanest man in comedy," Ross has roasted the likes of Hugh Hefner and Bob Saget over the years. Still touring the country as a stand-up comedien, Ross, 43, will dance with Edyta Sliwinska. Warren Sapp - Though a retired defensive linebacker, Sapp is not ready to give up on other athletic endeavors. Superbowl champ Sapp, 38, will dance with Kym Johnson.
