Pregnancy Challenge Summary & Mitchell the Model Jumper Switches

Fatma tells everyone of her crush on Project Runway designer Logan while Erika spends her time on the phone. In the end, Mitchell makes a controversial model selection.

Last week, the Project Runway red carpet design resulted in Ari being eliminated. Qristyl selected Ari's model Erika and saved her from imminent elimination. With several more model switches, the elimination round ended with Venezuelan Yosuzi being eliminated.

This week's challenge placed the models in the role of mothers. Each designer had to design a maternity look for Rebecca Romijn who is pregnant with twins. The models wore pregnancy pillows as they strutted down the runway.

The following episode summary contains spoilers, including the which model wins the weekly challenge and which one is eliminated.

Design Challenge Results & Designer Elimination

The episode opens with Malvin and Mitchell in the bottom two. Heidi informed Malvin that his chicken and look wasn't flattering, while they found Mitchell's work sloppy. Heidi told Malvin he was out. The models were upset with the decision and feared the next model selection with "Mitchell the model jumper." Malvin returned to the model room to say goodbye to his model Valerie.

The models discussed the designers and how they work with them. In reviewing the designer portfolios, the models didn't feel some of the designers lived up to their potential. Fatma described how she interacts with all of the designers to make sure they know her and like her.

Valerie burned off nervous energy by cleaning the apartment. Erika received a callback for an Arby's television commercial and seems to spend a lot of time on the phone. The other models tend to dislike Erika since she doesn't spend any time with them. Fatma continued to gush about Logan and tell the other models how much she likes him.

Models of the Runway Model Elimination

Heidi met the fashion designers at the runway and brought out the models. The winning designer Shirin was fist to select a model and she chose to return to her original model Ebony. Irina decided to switch things up this week and selected a new model, Kalyn. Ra'mon contemplated and whether he would steal Althea's model but decided to stay with his model Vanessa.

Nicolas decided to swap his model for Celine. Mitchell the model switcher stole Fatma who was visibly not happy. Logan was forced to change due to Mitchell's decision and chose Kojii. Qristyl chose Matar and Epperson chose Erica, thus eliminating the remaining model Valerie.

Fatma creates tension in the apartment by arguing with Vanessa.
