In VH1's newest reality show, Tiffany "New York" Pollard from Flavor of Love, I Love New York and New York Goes to Hollywood will try working real jobs chosen by viewers.

On May 4, 2009 at 10:00 p.m. VH1 will air its newest reality show, New York Goes to Work. On her last reality show, New York Goes to Hollywood, New York vowed to focus on acting and not reality TV, but now she’s back and ready to get her hands dirty…literally.

Each week, viewers will choose from a list of three jobs for New York to work the next week. The catch is that in order to receive her $10,000 bonus each week, New York will have to bust her butt to impress her employer. If she doesn’t impress her boss, quits or fails, she will get nothing.

Viewers will vote via text message to decide if she will work at a fast food restaurant, in a sewer, or some other job that’s sure to be difficult for New York and hilarious for everyone else.

Tiffany “New York” Pollard in Other VH1 Reality TV Shows

The self-proclaimed HBIC (Head Bitch In Charge) is reclaiming her reality TV fame. The last time viewers saw New York, she was pursuing an acting career and dumping Tailor Made, the winner of her reality show I Love New York 2.

New York Goes to Hollywood

In her most recent show, New York Goes to Hollywood, New York went on a series of casting calls, acting classes and meetings with her agent. In the end, she chose a small movie role over having a new reality show, I Love New York 3. At the end of the show, she did add that she’d return to reality TV if she needed the money, which presumably is what brings her to the new show New York Goes to Work.

New York and Flavor of Love

In the beginning, before she went to Hollywood or had her own love show, New York was just another contestant on Flavor of Love. New York competed to win the love of Flavor Flav more than once; she was the runner-up on Season One, even after butting heads with every other girl in the competition.

She came back mid-season to join the cast of Flavor of Love 2. After again getting into fights and arguments with the other contestants, New York became the runner-up.

I Love New York and I Love New York 2

Her “charm” and captivating personality led VH1 to give Tiffany “New York” Pollard her own reality dating show, I Love New York. After the first season, her chosen winner Tango dumped her on the reunion show. So she went back to the reality TV drawing board for I Love New York 2.

After season two of I Love New York, Tiffany got a proposal from winner Tailor Made. Everyone thought she had found love and was done with reality shows, and then she decided that she wanted to become an actress, so she went to Hollywood in the reality show New York Goes to Hollywood.

Since most beginning actresses need day jobs, so does New York, which is why she’s starring in the new VH1 reality show New York Goes to Work, to supplement her income between acting jobs.
