Rob and Amber Racing Ahead

The two All-Star Survivors met and allied on their very first day on the star-packed island. Then, as if by reality TV magic, they fell in love. Rob romantically proposed in front of cameras, and around thirty million at-home viewers, and the couple was off and running to the seventh season of CBS hit The Amazing Race. Listen, when you’re hot, you’re hot.

Their narrow second-place loss to racers Uchenna and Joyce left them without another million, but with a two-hour televised wedding package, courtesy of CBS. Since these big reality beginnings, the couple has been everywhere. Their ten-episode show Rob & Amber: Against the Odds was just what Fox Reality wanted, but the Marianos couldn’t stay away from CBS for long.

Now, the eleventh season of The Amazing Race has officially begun, and in this All-Star edition the Marianos are already in the lead. Though competition is fierce, other racers are worried about only one team – Rob and Amber. This reality couple is so ubiquitous, even other reality couples are terrified of them.

That’s a rep that Rob can live with. The devious trickster is renown for his cerebral game play and ability to outwit other reality competitors. If there is one thing that “Boston Rob” excels at, it’s competition. As showcased in their reality series Rob & Amber: Against the Odds, Rob has aspirations to become a professional poker player. There’s nothing like another million to make gambling dreams come true.

Though the Marianos have found a home on many different networks (Rob even held a spot on an investigative show on the Sci-Fi network last year), they have announced no new plans for their next reality endeavor. What’s on the docket after the Amazing Race: All-Stars is all said and done? In recent interviews, the famous couple told reporters they’d like to give parenthood a try.

If they can survive, race, and become reality royalty in only a few short years, they could certainly stand the test of becoming parents – right? Rob plans to pursue his dream of poker professional, and the couple may be searching out real estate in the Las Vegas area. Their official site will feature all their late-breaking plans. One thing is certain: sooner or later, cameras are bound to catch some of the action for hopeful viewers. If you watch TV long enough, you’re bound to see Rob and Amber again. And in the meantime, they just may be racing toward their second million-dollar prize from CBS.
