Scott Baio continues his diatribe, but this time he's trying to figure out if he's ready for fatherhood.

Scott Baio. Who is he again? Audiences might be scratching their heads when he appears on screen for season two of his reality show on VH1.

Baio, better known as “Chachi” the character he played on Happy Days, will be tackling fatherhood this time around. Previously he explored why it was so hard to remain in a monogamous relationship.

The problem with this series may lie in the fact that people aren't that interested in watching a middle age man bitch and moan about his problems. But Baio does have a huge following of middle age women who grew up watching him on Happy Days that will keep this series afloat for at least another season.

If VH1 is as predictable as it seems, "Scott Baio is 46 and Pregnant” will be Baio’s last attempt at trying to reinvent himself and shed his image as “Chachi”.

As with all their reality shows VH1 produces two seasons and then the show completely disappears. What ever happened to Flavor Flav for example? Did he ever find true love?

So what is it that makes this show worth watching? Nothing really except the fact that Baio is semi-famous and is facing issues that make audiences feel they can relate.

However, it can get annoying fast. Who cares that he’s not ready to be a father? Is anyone ever ready to be a parent? It’s a huge milestone! But the way he carries on, the world seems to revolve around him and not his unborn child as his girlfriend patiently deals with his immature attitude.

Most people face tougher issues in their lives, and for him it appears that most of the time he's overacting for the cameras. Baio is trying a little too hard to bring drama to the screen and unfortunately it's just not working. His whiney voice over isn’t helping either. But, as with all reality shows, you just can’t stop watching. Even if it’s a train wreck in front of you, there’s something secretly satisfying about peering into someone else’s life and realizing that no one is perfect.

The only thing going for this series is the “cuteness factor” that will emerge sooner or later. And that is when his girlfriend finally gives birth, but until then, Scott Baio needs to shut his mouth.

Bottom line, this show is good if you’re desperate for something to watch. If you can do something better with your time you’re not missing out, because this show will probably be making re-runs in a few months.
