Yul, Ozzy and Parvati go from a mud bath to a hot tub. Adam is sent to Exile Island. Becky and Sundra discuss their place in the Final Four. Here's the recap.

“Survivor: Cook Islands” will have a final three in case you haven’t heard yet. With a jury of nine, this leads to a possibility of a three-way tie. The “Survivor” finale on Sunday is definitely must-see TV.

Last night’s episode was anti-climactic at best. Ozzy won the Reward and Immunity Challenges. Becky and Sundra were actually hurt that Ozzy seemed to throw mud in their faces. Hey, it was a mud challenge after all! They thought he should’ve given them some help or something. I guess they wanted him to throw them a bone so they could get the spa day. Ozzy has made no mistake about it. He’s here to win. He’s playing mostly for himself and by himself. He knows this and he doesn’t care who else knows it.

When confronted, he’s honest. As he told Parvati and Adam last night when they asked him if he’d switch things up and vote out one of the Aitu Four, he said, ‘if it was in my best interest, I would, but I don’t think it is.’ (Or something like that.) Yul, who’s game I’m respecting less and less, Becky and Sundra thought about tossing Ozzy under the bus. They at least want to switch up their final four order. However, Yul said in a diary session that he thinks Ozzy’s the best person to take to the final two. Besides, Ozzy’s really strong in these challenges and well, right now, he’s t he only one I’d put my money on for getting to the final three.

Yul is still sure he’s making it to the final two. As far as I know, Yul’s immunity idol runs out pretty soon. This still gives him a chance to get booted onto the jury. It’s not a foregone conclusion and the fact that he’s playing like it is – annoys the living sh*t outta me. For a very intelligent man, he’s not acting too bright.

Becky and Sundra have sort of taken the role of complaining women. They’re not thrilled with anything or anyone. Maybe they’re tired. Maybe they’re both on the rag. I don’t know. They also joked about Parvati’s flirtation with Ozzy. Parvati admitted it was strategy. Duh! Ozzy flirted back, especially in the hot tub during the reward challenge. Ozzy, Yul and Parvati were naked and had some serious fun together. Well, Ozzy and Parvati enjoyed flirting and teasing. Yul seemed a bit uptight.

Maybe he felt left out like Parvati should’ve buttered him up since he’s holding the idol. Who knows? I don’t think Yul’s that petty, but I’ve been wrong before.

Adam tried to play up to Yul a bit. I guess he figures it could send Parvati home ahead of him. He would like to see his friend stay but knows the writing is on the wall. Exile Island and eating raw seafood (yech!) can really open up your eyes.

At one point, Sundra, Becky and Yul were scared that Ozzy was chit-chatting with Parvati and Adam in the shelter. In the end, they had nothing to fear from Ozzy. The tribe voted to send Parvati to the jury. Sunday night, we lose two and keep three. It’s going to be a wild final tribal council. I’m sure the jury has a lot to say. If last night’s tribal council in which Yul brought Jonathan back his hat showed us anything, the jury is a major factor in the end game. Unfortunately, Yul’s playing up to them may have the opposite effect. I don’t think they like it.

I know Candice seems to be working them pretty hard. And Nate too. Although Aitu is in the final five, Raro dominates the jury. If Adam can hang on and make it to the final three, he just might win this thing.

What do you think? I’d love to hear your predictions for Sunday and thoughts about last night’s episode. Talk to me in the discussion area.

Dale Enomoto :
I just noticed that Deanna's episode numbers are off. Parvati the Flirt is voted off in episode 13, not 12 and so on back. Not a big deal since she and I were the only ones posting comments and neither of us noticed until now.

Parvati, Parvati, Parvati. I wonder what your dad would think about you getting into a hot tub with a couple of naked guys. In her Survivor Live interview, she said, "Everyone keeps asking me about the hot tub. They were in it first." So, two guys were naked in a hot tub and she got naked and joined them. Is she trying to get on Girls Gone Wild?

Is Becky serious? She only NOW realizes that Ozzy is a serious threat at challenges? The hosts of Survivor Live suggested that Ozzy maybe should have thrown the reward challenges. If you dominate too much, you put a target on your back. Get real. That target was on Ozzy's back from before the mutiny. Besides, Colby from season 2 said that to win reward means more nourishment and rest, which means more strength in the immunity challenges. A no-brainer.

The mud challenge was hilarious. Ozzy said in an interview that he couldn't believe that no one else thought to grab a chunk of actual mud like he did. Everyone else was just getting muddy water, basically. Parvati was the only one to take a hint and that moved her into second place.

Just listening to the descriptions of the two challenges, you just knew that Ozzy would be favored. Poor Adam was yelling at himself at the end. Did you hear his, "Come on!" when he fell off the balance beam, again?

As for Parvati, trying to play Ozzy with Yul around wasn't very smart. He said at the reunion that he was afraid of being around them naked but was more afraid of them being alone to strategize.

The immunity challenges in the final episode are described as an obstacle course and endurance. Guess who's favored to win both?

You got me! Thanks for noticing. Man, next season I'll have to be more careful :)

I'm pondering a new labeling system to keep up. I don't count recap shows so I get all thrown off when they do those.

D'oh.

Again, your commentary is spot-on and enjoyable to read as always.
