JP, the alpha male of the alpha males on the very buff Raro tribe, got sent home in a shocking tribal ceremony! Well, it shocked him!
I made a prediction yesterday. Boy! When I'm wrong, I'm wrong, and I'll admit it. It thought that Aitu was going to send someone packing. They didn't. In fact, Aitu one both challenges. Raro, with its buff dudes, had trouble holding it together...and I thought there was no drama on that tribe.
Whoa! What show am I watching this season?
I guess I just have the vibe all wrong. Anyway, last night Aitu got back to their camp and saw some mice having a fiesta. Ewwww! Yul wasn't in a great mood. Becky, however, said she feels pretty comfortable with their alliance which includes Candice and Jonathan.
Ozzy feels on the outside looking in. He can see the writing on the wall and figures he's next. Probably a safe bet! Candice returns from Exile Island and Jessica seems to suggest that Candice was sent to Exile Island by Adam and Parvati to 'protect her'.
Ya think? Candice plays dumb because she doesn't want everyone to know that she has a secret alliance with people from the other tribe.
Meanwhile at Raro, the gals are preparing the sleeping quarters while the buff boys sit and drink around the fire. This pisses Parvati off.
The next day, they have the reward challenge. The prize? blankets, pillows and a hammock! The winning tribe sends a loser to Exile Island too! Aitu wins reward. They send Adam to Exile Island.
Aitu is glad to have won, naturally. Ozzy goes fishing and catches a ton of fish for the tribe. Maybe, the tribe will keep him around so they can eat well. Stranger things have happened!
At Raro's camp, JP sits on his butt and orders everyone else around - mostly the women. Parvati is again pissed at JP. Later that night, Parvati flirts with Nate by the fire and asks if they have an alliance or not. Nate says sure. She asks Nate if they should consider getting rid of JP. Nate says no, 'let the king have his throne' or something like that.
This seems to change Parvati's mind about tossing JP under the bus.
The Aitu tribe finds boobie nests. Someone wonders what 'boobies taste like.' Hehe :)
Cao Boi climbs the tree and knocks down a baby boobie and the nest. He pisses off not only the boobie mama but Jonathan and some of the other people on his tribe with his carelessness. Cao Boi needs to watch himself. He admits he was reckless and replaces the bird's nest and returns the baby back to its mama. Luckily, the little boobie was okay.
(So, how many times did I type boobie in the last several paragraphs?)
Now, it's time for the reward challenge. Raro has Cristina sit out. Parvati and Candice have to be 'rescued'. Aitu pulls it out and shows that they can indeed work well together. Cao Boi uses some seriously creative method to make fire and helps secure the victory. The gals on Raro can't get a fire going, especially Stephannie.
After the challenge, Aitu celebrates and Raro heads back to camp. Stephannie says she should go in a moment of weakness. JP and the other guys seem on board with that. However, Rebecca and Jenny start thinking about how they can change the game. They're loath to get rid of the guys, but...here's the deal. There's five women and four men. This is the only time they can possibly do it.
However, Parvati does not seem to be on board. The ladies decide to ask Brad for help.
At tribal council, Jeff asks his usual probing questions. Jenny reluctantly admits that JP is the leader of the tribe. After they discuss trust a little bit, the vote happens.
Two votes for Stephannie and then, the rest are for JP! JP didn't even see it coming! He doesn't have any hard feelings but is a bit shell-shocked.
Interestingly enough, Nate was the only one who voted with JP. Hmmm? Wonder if that means his alliance with Parvati is one-sided. Better watch your back, Nate!
