The Amazing Race is back for another season, with the 15th installment of the CBS reality competition series. Twelve teams of two are back to compete in The Amazing Race 15 to possibly win the $1 million prize that goes to the winning team. The contestants travel around the world with various challenges while they all race towards nightly pit stops in the race. Nearly every show will eliminate one team, as they all work towards The Amazing Race season finale, and the revelation of who will win the $1 million cash prize.
The Amazing Race Season Premiere
The Amazing Race season premiere will air on Sunday, September 27th at 8:00 P.M. on CBS. The season premiere will be a tour hour event, but after that, each weekly episode will only be a one hour installment. Each new episode will depict another leg of their race around the world, and bring the competitors that much closer to possibly winning one million dollars.
The Amazing Race 15 Cast
- Megan and Cheyne – The young couple is from San Diego, and are currently just dating. They have known each other since back in elementary school during a game of tetherball.
- Maria and Tiffany – This pair is comprised of two young professional poker players that have been best friends for the past three years.
- Marcy and Ron – Marcy (60) and Ron (59) are a couple that began dating just a year ago, and are here to prove that they can still be strong and competitive in the competition. Ron is a stock trader while Marcy is a photographer.
- Lance and Keri – Lance is a 41-year-old lawyer and Keri is a 33-year-old finance manager. The couple is from Massachusetts and currently engaged.
- Herbet and Nathaniel – This is going to be an interesting team comprised of two Harlem Globetrotters living in Arkansas and New Orleans.
- Gary and Matt – This is the father and son team of the season, hailing from Montana, and looking to bring home the prize to their small town life.
- Garret and Jessica – The couple has been dating on and off for a while and are 27 and 28 years old respectively. They both come from California, and are looking to have a great experience together.
- Brian and Ericka – The married couple is a current marketing tour manager and former Miss America from 2004. They will be the first interracial married team to play The Amazing Race.
- Eric and Lisa – Married yoga teachers, they have been married for over 18 years, are both vegans, and love spending their lives together.
- Sam and Dan – Sam and Dan are brother from Missouri who are both currently students and became very close when they both came out and told each other that they were gay.
- Zev and Justin – Zev and Justin are friends from California, and one of them works in production for the National Lampoon Company.
- Mika and Cannan – The very young couple is newly dating, hails from Nashville Tennessee, and are both looking to make it big in the “business”. Mika is an aspiring singer, and Canaan is a professional songwriter.
