Ever wonder what happens to the couples once they leave The Bachelor? Well, today I'm going to give you a little update on some of the past couples from The Bachelor on ABC. Did they marry? What are they doing now?
Let's begin with last season's The Bachelor: Paris. The handsome ER doctor, Travis Stork gave his final rose to the sweet kindergarten teacher, Sarah Stone. Both Travis and Sarah were from the same city, Nashville, TN. In fact, they discovered that they only lived with a few blocks from one another! Unfortunately, though, this Tennessee couple broke up and blamed ABC for their break up.
As some of you may know, when the couples sign up for the show, they have to agree to a contract that they sign. One of the terms in the contract prevents them from seeing each other until the final episode of The Bachelor airs on ABC. Well, evidentially, for Travis and Sarah, absence doesn't make the love grow fonder. "We thought it was going to be this great relationship, but… over time, when you're not allowed to see someone, you grow apart. Had Sarah and I dated under 'normal' conditions, it definitely would have worked out," Travis commented in an interview with TV Guide.
Remember Lorenzo Borghese from The Bachelor Season 9? Lorenzo gave his final rose to Jennifer Wilson. However, they too broke up, and it has been surfacing that Lorenzo Borghese is now dating Sadie Murray. Sadie Murray was the second runner up to Jennifer Wilson. Hmm… maybe Lorenzo decided he made the wrong choice.
Just in case you haven't heard already, Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter did marry! Not only did they marry, but also they did it just as they met: on ABC… live… in front of millions of viewers. The big day took place on December 3, 2003, and as of this date, it is reported that the couple are still married and very much in love. In fact, they are even expecting their first child.
On season 7 of The Bachelor on ABC, Charlie O'Connell decided to give his final rose to Sarah Brice from McKinney, Texas. They may not have married yet, but on January 10, 2007, Charlie's brother, Jerry announced on Jimmy Kimmel Live that Charlie and Sarah are still together and doing great. Currently, the couple resides in Los Angeles. Who knows, maybe The Bachelor will report success again.
