Ellen Valinotti Answers Tough Questions on Fox's Reality Show
Fox's hit reality show sets out to get the real deal out of another contestant on the March 5 episode of the series, fresh off last weeks the truth heard round the world.
Fresh off the previous week's marriage-crushing episode, The Moment of Truth sets out to "help" someone else win some money by revealing her deepest darkest secrets.
In the hot seat this week was Ellen Valinotti, a mother of four. Her husband, mom and siblings were sitting nearby, anxiously waiting to see what would be asked.
As always, host Mark L. Walberg started off with some fairly easy questions but moved onto what can only be described as mortifying and potentially hurtful subject matters.
Still, compared to last week, the questions were tame, which is to say they wouldn't competely trash a marriage... if you can call that tame.
Questions that Made her Blush
The contestant breezed through questions regarding her sexuality. She was a bit red in the face when they were done, but she answered truthfully none-the-less.
“Are you turned on by the thought of being spanked by an attractive man” (yes)
“Have you ever fantasized about a Yankee while having sex with Darren (Husband)” (yes)
“Have you ever fantasized about a co-worker” (yes)
“Did you invite anyone to your wedding that you had sex with” (yes. Darren ran a mental recap of the wedding list trying to figure out who it could be)
Questions that Made her Ramble
As she inched closer to the big money, the questions became more intense.
“Do you think you’re a better mother then your mother?” (yes….with a ton of explanation to back it up)
“Do you feel your in-laws have been better parents to you then your own?” (yes….again with a ton of explanation to back it up)
Questions that Made Her Cry
Ellen did well for most of the show but she seemed to get pretty emotional on the harder questions, wiping away tears and cringing as the answers revealed themselves via the voice of a computer.
“Do you have a secret that could end your marriage?” (Yes… Darren seemed a bit perturbed and discussion would surely follow)
“Do you believe you’ll be married to Darren for the rest of your life?” (Yes.)
“Have you ever been ashamed to tell someone you are Jewish” (Her husband hit the buzzer on that one, saving her and she was thankful)
The Outcome and Next Week
Ellen made it to the 100k mark and considered going on for a moment but decided against it after her family expressed just how much 100k could do for their life. She ended the show, taking the money with her and it seemed, returned to her family without incident.
The clips from next week’s episode seem interesting to say the least. The contestant will be Eric and according to the upcoming episode clip he’ll be answering questions such as “do fat people repulse you” and “have you had sexual relations with more then 100 women”. If previous episodes are any indication, mom will likely be on hand and the questions could get pretty embarrassing.
