Love is definitely in the air on ‘The Apprentice’. First, producer Mark Burnett proposes to Roma Downey. Now, Bill Rancic’s about to get hitched.
Bill Rancic made headlines when he became Trump’s first-ever “Apprentice”. The handsome, 35 year old dude from Chicago, won America’s hearts and Trump’s too. In fact, Trump kept the dude on long after his first contract expired.
Rancic, who used to date Jenn Schefft, Andrew Firestone’s ex from “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” fame, has finally found the one gal to spend the rest of his life with. It’s E! News’ Giuliana DePandi. Guiliana flew to Chicago to be with her beau, who she first met when she interviewed him for his reality TV win and has been dating for about a year. Instead of being whisked to Bill’s apartment in the Windy City, she was taken to a helipad.
Bill then took his ladylove on a romantic helicopter ride. He proposed over some deep-dish pizza and champagne. The couple is set to be married sometime in 2007. DePandi, who once dated Jerry O’Connell, Rebecca Romijn’s fiancé, hosts E! News with Ryan Seacrest. Rancic, who still works for the Trump Organization, will appear on the next season of “The Apprentice” when it starts in January 2007.
