Cast Announced for Survivor 13

Survivor: Cook Islands will divide contestants into teams based on race.

The 13th installment of Survivor, which is set in the Cook Islands, is due to premiere on Thursday, September 14 at 8 pm EST. The CBS series, which has long been a fan fave, has lapsed in ratings over the past several seasons. Mark Burnett and crew, including host Jeff Probst, have added a new twist to the mix.

In the past, the groups of Survivors have been split up into teams of men vs. women and older vs. younger and so forth. Now, there will be four teams of five players - divided by racial lines. There's already a ton of buzz about this.

Looks like Burnett's got people talking 'bout Survivor again!
