Constantine Maroulis will be joining the cast of the broadway version of The Wedding Singer starting September 8 for eight weeks. He'll be replacing Matthew Saldivar in the role of Sammy, the not-so bright bandmate of the title character.
Maroulis, who wowed audiences with his sex appeal and dramatic performances on the fourth season of American Idol, seems to be a natural fit for Broadway. The New Jersey boy, who attended the Boston Conservatory of Music, is also hard at work on his solo EP, set for release in 2007.
