Occassionally a new show comes along that catches my attention. Jay Mauel's Style Her Famous is MY new addiction. It's absolutely fab-u-lous!
Okay! I love me some makeover shows. As a busy mom and writer, I don't have a ton of time to take care of myself the way I used to. Heck, who does?
I love watching other women who are pretty much like me get made over. I thoroughly enjoy seeing their transformations externally - and internally. Jay Manuel, everyone's favorite photo shoot director from "America's Next Top Model", has created a fantastic forum to help women do just that.
It's called "Style Her Famous".
I adore this show. Oh my goddess! Jay takes these everyday women and gives them a complete makeover with stylist and hairdresser thrown in! If that weren't fantastic enough, Jay, who's a world-renowned makeup artist, gives good face...and lets the ladies star in their own, magazine-style photo shoot!
The women use A-list celebs as their inspiration. So far, I've seen episodes which featured the looks of Halle Berry, Jessica Simpson and Reese Witherspoon! I know there are more, I just have to set my DVR to catch 'em!
"Style Her Famous" airs new episodes every Monday night at 10 pm EST on the Style Network. Catch it if you can!
