NBC Developing "Wedding Crashers" Into Reality TV Series

The Real Wedding Crashers is based on the 2005 comedy blockbuster which starred Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughan.

NBC has ordered 6 episodes of the series 'The Real Wedding Crashers' which will feature improv actors going undercover at real weddings to bring "surprises, pranks," and more to these events.

The series is being produced by the television arm of New Line Cinema and Katalyst Productions, the producers of MTV's Punk'd. Yes, that means that Ashton Kutcher, who married Demi Moore last fall, will be an executive producer on this project.

Kutcher is no stranger to reality TV, of course having been on Punk'd for several seasons and helping to produce "Beauty and The Geek".
