Richard Hatch, the first "Survivor" winner, is currently tutoring inmates in prison. He's spending more than four years on the 'inside' for tax evasion.

Richard Hatch, he of the naked wandering around Borneo and the winning of a million dollars on the first season, has just been convicted of tax evasion. It seems the dude didn't pay any taxes on his $1 million windfall from "Survivor". We wonder how he figured he could hide this from the IRS?

In the appeal, Hatch maintains that producers of the CBS struck a deal with him, agreeing to pay his taxes if he won. He says the producers proposed said deal after he caught them cheating by smuggling food to contestants. The appeal mentions that these "facts" were not allowed to be brought to light during the trial.

Hatch is now serving a total of 51 months in prison for the crime.
