Last Tuesday - October 17th to be exact - Whitney Houston filed divorce proceedings in Orange County Superior Court. In 1992 Whitney was at the top of her game professionally. That was also the year she married Bobby. Since then, Whitney's career has sunk pretty low and her personal life even lower. The Brown/Houston union has been plagued by rumors of drug addiction, abuse, infidelity and more.
Although Brown, who said that the separation was temporary, seems to be having a difficult time, sources say that Whitney is working hard to get her life and career back on track. Houston is currently working hard on her comeback album. She's living in Orange County with her daughter, Bobbi Kristina. Houston's reps have maintained that the separation was just the first step in divorce proceedings. A divorce was gonna happen from the get-go!
