» auntydle - Mutiny! This is going to be a long one.

Oh. My. God. I was so mad last night. There was so much back-stabbing and throat-cutting going on that it looked like a Friday the 13th movie.

I never trusted Jonathan. I did wonder about Candice but never expected anything like this. She was the one cuddling with Adam before the tribes were mixed and was blowing him kisses during the double elimination. But the way she was talking with Jonathan about getting back with Adam and Parvati shocked me. Even the way she mutinied was devious. She waited until the last seconds so that the "ethnic" contestants from Raro wouldn't have time to think about flip-flopping themselves. She was even trying to leave Jonathan behind. She really showed her true colors.

I just don't get Nate's reasoning. Brad had a chance to join back up with Yul and Becky and didn't. Nate himself said that that makes him more trustworthy than Jonathan. Yet, when talking with Adam, they both didn't trust Brad not to join back up with Yul and Becky after the merge. "He didn't betray us when he had a chance but he might betray us when he has a chance." Kind of a circular illogic. I'm so glad the "jury" phase of the competition started when everyone least expected it. I hope it comes back to bite some serious Raro a**.

I couldn't believe Jenny and Rebecca voted with Adam, Parvati et al. Don't they realize that they're next? Jonathan thinks he's in but he's not really in. The true Raro alliance is Adam, Parvati, Candice and Nate.

As for what happened in the challenges, Raro seems to have forgotten how smart Yul is and how incredible Ozzy is in the challenges. They both really shined this week. Ozzy holding the barrel with his feet and using the rope to pull it along while Nate and Adam tried to swim against the current? I loved it! And Yul realizing that it was easier to look through the cannonball hole to see the actual target rather than trying to line up the crosshairs? That was genius!

This season...I don't think I've never seen so much out and out lying to people's faces before. And Aitu never insulted or was scornful of anyone. Raro sneers at people. Go Ozzy!

A few more thoughts about this week's episode.

The way things have worked out really makes you wonder how much the producers manipulate things. Candice and Jonathan mutiny and switch tribes. The tribes now stand 4 vs 8. And the two challenges for the week just happen to be 4-man challenges? Coincidence?

I think that Candice is the most devious one of all. I forgot about how she played Adam against Jonathan.

One last thought on episode 8. Brad is the first person on the jury. At the start of the episode, there were 12 survivors left. This means we will wind up with a 10 person jury, which brings up the possibility of a tie. What's up with that?

My thought is that there will either be a final three. Jeff did promise more changes. Or...

this is a thought. Give the viewing public the chance to vote. The highest vote getter of the final two would be considered our "PICK". We'd be the odd member of the jury.

Just some speculation...

The hosts of the Survivor online chat show also speculated about there being a final three. But that would bring the jury numbers down to 9, which still leaves the possibility of a tie. I like your other idea- that the viewers would get a vote. That would be awesome!

Personally, I think the America vote would be a great twist to the game and hope this is what happens.

I'm just not sure what they have in store, to be honest. But it's nice to speculate. It's definitely revived my interest in this season.
